General Info

Location- Epcot is off Epcot Drive, the main entrance road to Disney World from Interstate 4 exit 26B. Follow signs to Epcot.

Parking- $ 5 / 6. As with most things, Disney organises parking better than most. Once you've parked, remember your zone and number and hop on a tram to the ticket booths, if you already have your ticket you will save time.

Park Hours- The park opens at 9 am and World Showcase at 11am. The park closes at 9pm when the fireworks start on World Showcase Lagoon.

Tickets- For the latest discount ticket prices or to order your discount Disney tickets,
click here. There are one-day tickets available for the park but if you intend to do most of the Disney attractions then the multi-day tickets are the best option. These offer good savings and more flexibility. There are 4 types available-

5 Day Park Hopper Plus - This offers 5 days admission to the four main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom). These do not have to be consecutive days and you have the freedom to visit more than one park in a day. PLUS 2 visits to any of the following parks : Disney's 3 water parks (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and River Country), Downtown Disney Pleasure Island or Disney's Wide World of Sport's Complex. You also get complimentary use of Disney transport between parks and the days never expire if you don't get to use them all.

7 Day Park Hopper Plus - This offers 7 days admission to the four main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom). 10 Day World Pass - This offers 10 days admission to the four main theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Animal Kingdom), Disney's 3 water parks (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon and River Country), Downtown Disney Pleasure Island or Disney's Wide World of Sport's Complex. These do not have to be consecutive days and you have the freedom to visit more than one park in a day. You also get complimentary use of Disney transport between parks and free parking. This pass expires 13 days after first day of use and is only available in the UK.

Unlimited Magic Pass- Guests staying at a Disney Resort have this pass which allows unlimited admission to all Disney attractions for the length of your stay.

Services- Lockers are available for $5 ($2 refund) from underneath Spaceship Earth and International Gateway. Pushchairs ($6- $1 refund) and wheelchairs ($6- $1 Refund or $30- $10 refund) are available from the same location.

Guided Tours -

BEHIND THE SEEDS- Take a one hour walking tour of the LAND greenhouses and labs. Learn about hydroponics, fish farming, plant biotechnology and the latest research techniques in integrated pest management. $6/per adult and $4/per child (3-9); same day reservations only. To Reserve go downstairs in the LAND to the podium near the Green Thumb Emporium and reserve a time.

DIVEQUEST- Experience a 30-minute dive adventure in The Living Seas aquarium. Length of Program: 2 1/2 hours and is offered daily. Age Limit: 16 years or older. Proof of current SCUBA "open water" adult certification is required. Cost: $140 per person, Theme Park admission is not required.

DOLPHINS IN DEPTH- runs Mondays through Fridays and lasts 3.5 hours. Learn about dolphins, their anatomy, how they're trained, do some fun things, get into wet suits and spend about 30 minutes in waist-deep water with them. It costs $140 per person. The tour starts and ends outside the front gate of Epcot, so NO admission to Epcot is required. The price included a videotape, drinks, and a T-shirt. It is open to guests 16 and older. You need to bring a bathing suit. They provide showers, shampoo, towels, soap and the wetsuits and booties. No swimming required. No cameras or video taping is allowed and expectant mothers are strongly discouraged from participating. Dolphin interaction is NOT guaranteed.

GARDENS OF THE WORLD- Learn about the basic design concepts, themeing, and practices used in creating the beautiful Epcot landscapes. This is a 3 hour tour is hosted by a horticulture expert. In addition to the program fee, admission to Epcot IS required. Tour currently offered on Tuesdays and Thursday mornings, ages 16 and older. Cost is $49 per person.

HIDDEN TREASURES (Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday) - This 3.5 hour adventure explores the pavilions of World Showcase. $49 per person, plus Epcot admission.

HIDDEN TREASURES PLUS - (Wednesday) Journey through Epcot's World Showcase and enjoy a special lunch at Germany. You will also visit the Backstage Cast Wardrobe area. This tours covers all 11 pavilions in World Showcase for $85. Epcot Admission is NOT Required.

UNDISCOVERED FUTURE WORLD - A Brand New Tour in Epcot where you can learn about the history and creation of Epcot and the legacy Walt set forth for the Walt Disney World Resort. Learn how each pavilion in Future World celebrates human accomplishment and presents the challenge of the future. Visit a VIP lounge area and meet an international Ambassador. Get a backstage peek at Cast Services and the IllumiNations 2000: Reflections of Earth barges at the Epcot marina to see how the Epcot show is put together. The four-and-a-half-hour tours started July 4 and are offered Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 a.m. The cost is $49 a person, and you must be at least 16 years old. Admission to the park is required for the tour.
